Volunteering
Fab Lab Manchester is always looking for keen, interested folks to help us help others make things. It doesn't matter if you can spare a little time often or prefer to stay for a while we would love to have you.
Your day-to-day activities would involve
- Supporting the Fab Lab to ensure that users have the support and assistance they need to maximise the effectiveness of their time in the Fab Lab and achieve their desired outcomes.
- Ensuring that the Fab Lab is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation. Using best practice techniques found in Lean Manufacturing.
- Building relationships with other Fab Labs, organisations and Fab Lab users to gain and share knowledge for the benefit of all and the improvement of the Fab Lab
- Developing projects to improve the Fab Lab and user experiance
