Fab Labs are designed to bring innovation to grass roots, to provide local solutions for local problems. The aim is to provide everyone with the opportunity to design and create something to improve their lives, and hopefully others too! With this in mind we need support from many areas to make this work from people to skills, equipment and resources. By building and nurturing an asset like this and making it free to access by people who wouldn't normally get the chance; we are opening up a wealth opportunity for great new ideas!
Contributions could include:
- Donating funds
- Donating equipment, software or resources
- Sponsoring equipment
- Providing materials
- Volunteering in the lab
- Providing training and skills for use in the lab
